Since 1453 there are records about the Azenhas do Boco, at the time leased from the then Convent of Jesus in Aveiro.
The current Ti Luísa watermill, located in Boco, may have been one of these, not only because of the records, but also because of its location (3′ watermill downhill from the oldest levada).
Family watermill, certainly passed through many generations of millers, until the last reconstruction in 1949, by the owners at the time and from whom it inherited its current name.
It was ground until the end of the 70s of the last century, remaining inactive due to lack of human resources until April 2013, when it was remodeled and started grinding again.
