Sparkling Wine of Casa do Paço de Dalvares Museum
Sparkling wine production and bottling processes are recreated

With origins dating back to the Middle Ages, the centenary Casa do Paço was, for centuries, of great importance to the local inhabitants who depended on the assets of the Palace. Formerly belonging to D. Egas Moniz, it currently houses the Sparkling Wine Museum, where all the sparkling wine production and bottling processes are recreated.

Casa do Paço is an open space, with traces of the wealth of the past, where there are several spaces that can be used for meetings and work sessions. Containing in itself several potentialities, it houses the Route of the Cistercian Vineyards and the Regional Wine Commission of Távora-Varosa and is the headquarters of the Confraria do Espumante.

Additional notes

Entrance to the building is free and includes a guided tour; there is the possibility of tasting Murganheira sparkling wine and elderberry jam, with prior booking and an additional cost of €2.5/person.
