The Grand Route 30 “Section of Sobral de Monte Agraço”, is a pedestrian route of Grand Route, with about 16 Km, linear, with points of departure and arrival in the localities of Patameira and Correntes (Valgarfos).
The GR 30 “Troço Concelhio de Sobral de Monte Agraço” is a pedestrian route with a long route, about 16 km long, linear, with a starting point in the town of Patameira and an arrival point in the town of Correntes (Valgarfos). It is marked in both directions, in accordance with the rules of the Portuguese Camping and Mountaineering Federation. This section develops around the main defense position of the Lines of Torres and provides the walker with an unusual experience that combines the environment, sport and tourism with the history of the 3rd French Invasion of Portugal. Among the hills and valleys, the highlights are the passage through the Forts of Alqueidão, Simplício and Machado and the Headquarters where Wellington settled.
