The SHALE TRADITIONS ECOMUSEUM is a dynamic project that integrates and promotes territorial cohesion in the domains within its area of influence. This project aims to preserve and enhance the cultural and natural heritage(s), safeguarding traditions, mountain culture and enhancing nature conservation, through six nuclei. The Headquarters Nucleus, located in the Schist Village of Aigra Nova, presents itself as the “mother house” of the Ecomuseum. In this space, the local populations take you on a visit through the past, through the histories, traditions, knowledge and flavors of the region, in an intimate relationship with each object. The structure of this Nucleus is centered on a virtuous triangulation between history, artifact and Man, displayed in a house with traditional features, which houses four different areas.
