The route begins at the Ponte da Atalhada, where Oliveira do Conde ends, bordering the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital. Going up the river, there are dams that once served to control the waters. There are 14 km of banks and almost wild vegetation. At the end of winter the slopes are covered in the yellow tones of the mimosas, birdwatching provides a unique experience and upon reaching Senhora da Ribeira, in Parada you will find the wide river and the old submerged chapel and a pleasant place to rest.
