The natural course of the Ribeira de Almaceda was used to create the dam that gave rise to the river beach and which, in the past, used the force of the waters to run an old oil press, which has since been preserved. This space is equipped with several infrastructures, which offer users excellent conditions to enjoy it.

Also known as Poço do Lagar, the Fluvial Beach of Almaceda divides Espírito Santo, on the right bank of the stream, and Senhora da Graça, on the left bank, from the parish of Almaceda.
