They take place on the 16th and 17th of May, since at least the end of the 18th century.
With each passing year, Fafe receives, at the time of the Free Fairs, not only the visit of many tourists, but also the Fafe inhabitants who are emigrants and are keen to attend this great fair.

In addition to the livestock competition and horse racing, mandatory numbers, the fairs are also animated with music and an exhibition of products and articles from the land.
