The wealth of national handicrafts – a unique and genuine heritage that needs to be increasingly preserved – and the unmistakable flavors of our national cuisine are presented in Vila Nova de Famalicão at this fair.
An event that is currently the largest Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair in Minho, being unquestionably a tourist-cultural poster of national reference.

The prestige achieved is, in large part, the result of a strong commitment by the municipality to the organization and promotion of the event, which has led to a natural selection of the best and most authentic national handicrafts along with the most genuine flavors of our cuisine.
Developing itself as a leisure space, for meeting and re-encountering traditions, for sharing experiences and discovering uses and customs, the City Council has been concerned with attracting new generations to the Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair in order to transmit ancestral knowledge and flavors to them.
Animation is, moreover, one of the strengths of the event with daily musical shows.
The live work of the artisans, in the creation of unique pieces from the most diverse raw materials is a very special attraction of the event.
