May is a month of strong traditions in Vila Nova de Famalicão, with the celebration of two of the most popular festivals in the county: the Flower Festival and the Feira das Trocas.

There are four intense days, with one of the most emblematic fairs in Famalicão being crowned by all the beauty, perfume and splendor of the flowers. For some, May is a time to go back in time and remember customs of yesteryear, for others, in the case of the youngest, this is a month to experience for the first time the traditions that have marked the history of the municipality.
