The North International Fair – Norcaça, Norpesca and Norcastanha aims to commercialize and develop the promotion of the three categories: hunting, fishing and chestnut.

The North International Fair – Norcaça, Norpesca & Norcastanha Norcaça, is held annually in Bragança. This event aims to promote the region as a whole, and make known the value that hunting, fishing and chestnuts represent in the regional economy.

The program is made up of various activities dedicated to hunting, fishing and chestnuts, with several exhibitors and dozens of them, such as fishing and hunting competitions, wild boar riding, TT ride, Terra Fria Transmontana chestnut competition, Chestnut Sweets, Show Cooking’s Hunting, Fishing and Chestnut, Fishing Demonstrations in an Artificial Lake, Falconry Show, Cetrary Demonstrations, Traditional Musical Entertainment, Roasted Chestnuts, Chestnut Sale, Tasquinhas, Restaurants. In parallel, the Gastronomic Week “Chestnut, Hunting and Fishing” takes place in participating restaurants throughout the city.
