This pilgrimage takes place on the 15th of August of each year in the chapel of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios near the village of Sertã.

Agostinho de Santa Maria wrote, in 1711, that «the contests are continuous, & the pilgrimages that are made by that Lady, & everyone goes to seek her protection».

On the 14th of August, the feast is dedicated to São Nuno de Santa Maria (who used to come here to pray before the battles), while on the 15th of August, Nossa Senhora dos Remédios deserves special mention.
