Vaudeville Rendez-Vous is an international performing arts festival with unique characteristics, dedicated exclusively to the universe of physical theatre, circus and cabaret. Organized by Teatro da Didascália, in partnership with the Municipalities of Vila Nova de Famalicão, where Braga, Barcelos and Guimarães were born in 2014, it invades the streets and squares of the city with large and small-format shows.

It is not illusionism or a juggling trick. It is the result of a deep work that Teatro da Didascália has developed, putting this large urban fabric of the Minho region to think together in the contemporary circus. It is a Festival that is set in a region made up of cities with such different cultural paths, which embraces this diversity and makes it speak with one voice when we talk about circus. It is a Festival that takes place in such an artistically rich regional context, through its agents, equipment, heritage and cultural events, that it can be affirmed as the second cultural center in the country after the capital. It is a Festival that, due to the privileged context in which it takes place, cannot be oblivious to the construction of an artistic program that is up to the high standards of excellence established in an increasingly cosmopolitan region.
