In a place called Salvador are found the origins of the municipality of Sobral de Monte Agraço. Evidence of this historical period is a building, dating from the 13th century, which reveals the ambivalence of the transition period from Romanesque to Gothic and which is recognized as one of the most interesting medieval temples in the Lisbon region – the Chapel of S.
