The route is located between the towns of Izeda and Calvelhe, on a plateau bordered to the west by Ribeira de Vilalva and to the east by Ribeira da Veiga.
In Izeda, the route starts next to the current building of the Parish Council, where the Primary School once operated. Nearby you can visit the Casa da Cultura, the Museum Center and the Igreja Matriz (dedicated to Sra. da Assunção). Upon reaching Fonte das 3 Bicas, turn left towards Largo do Salgueiro and from there to Rua de Santa Eulália, then take a rural path, on the right, which goes up between agricultural fields. The valley of Ribeira de Vilalva appears on the left and soon after going around Monte da Retorta (the highest point of the route), you begin to descend towards Calvelhe.
From Calvelhe, go down to a small tributary of Ribeira da Veiga, following along it towards Cabeço Pelado. Before going around this hill, we found the mouth of two other small streams. The route continues towards Izeda, going up or down between pasture and cultivation areas. The final section is flanked by extensive olive groves.
The maximum altitude is 713 meters and its minimum altitude is 596 meters. Its type of route is circular and has a medium level of difficulty.
