The Fiais/Azenha Prehistoric Circuit is made up of a set of megalithic monuments, testimony to the human occupation of the territory. These monuments also constitute the historical record about the way in which man dealt with his survival, the funerary rituals and the organization of small communities that lived there in prehistory, around 6,000 years BC. conservation and importance of the Orca Dolmen, classified as a national monument in 1974.
Walking this circuit allows contact with the monuments and places occupied by prehistoric man, as well as providing contact with nature, with the surrounding landscapes, with Serra da Estrela as a background and the Mondego Valley below.
The Circuit is properly equipped with directional and interpretive signs, as well as accessible paths to most vehicles, also providing the practice of hiking, mountain biking and TT, with no difficulties in enjoying it.
