Hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Franqueira

It is a construction from the beginning of the 15th century, attributed to Egas Moniz. Its foundation was dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Franqueira with an annual pilgrimage in early August.
It is a construction from the beginning of the 15th century. Located in Monte da Franqueira, in the parish of Pereira, its foundation is attributed to Egas Moniz. Its interior is simple and sober, with a jasper altar offered by the 8th Count of Barcelos who brought it from Ceuta in 1415.
