Cruzeiro do Adro is one of the monuments that most won the admiration of visitors. Baroque work with a Solomonic column (18th century). It is composed of a single piece of granite, artistically enhanced, 28 palms high and with a spiral-shaped column. The capital, with acanthus leaves and volutes, is surmounted by groups of angels sown on the four sides of the prismatic body, on which rises a beautiful carved cross with floral endings. Its historical value is monumental and undeniable.
The Pulpit stands out for its uniqueness. It’s from Sec. XVIII, first half, of the so-called Joanine baroque and all in gilded and polychrome carving.
