Igreja Velha de Manhente
One of the first Romanesque buildings in Portugal

The construction of the former Romanesque monastic church dates back to the 12th century. This monument will even be one of the first national Romanesque constructions. As such, it constitutes an invaluable example of the beginnings of our history of art and the foundation of the nation. It is a National Monument since 1915.
