Rich in testimonies of the past that enrich the landscape of the Municipality, Carregal do Sal contains numerous vestiges of the former occupation, among which the Orca Dolmen stands out, considered one of the best preserved megalithic monuments in this region and classified as a National Monument. The monument is part of the Fiais/Azenha Prehistoric Circuit. And it is within the scope of this Circuit that, from one of the highest points in the Municipality, landscapes can be seen as far as the eye can see. We are talking about the Talegre Viewpoint where the Víbora Geodesic Mark is located.
