Misericórdia and Building Church
Building and Church
Former Convent of the Capuchos, passed to the Santa Casa da Misericórdia in 1836. It has valuable contents, an important documentary archive and an image of Santa Maria from the 16th century.
The church must have been quite rich, but a fire at the end of the third quarter of the 19th century destroyed much of its Baroque interior.
