Built in the old Bragança train station, it brings together, in addition to the magnificent carriages, more than two hundred pieces that were part of the daily lives of railway workers and passengers on the Tua Line, until its closure in 1992.
The National Railway Museum of Bragança, inaugurated in April 2019, is located in the old railway station of the city and occupies the building previously intended for the parking of carriages, which was the terminus station of the Tua Line. Here, more than two hundred pieces are gathered, which were part of the daily life of railway workers and passengers on the Tua Line.
This space is, therefore, a place of memory of the old railway line in the region, which ceased to serve the population of Bragança in 1992.
Free entrance.
