Of enormous archaeological value, this necropolis was discovered in 1971 and excavated 10 years later, revealing 8 tombs lined up and facing east, inscribed in what can be considered an individual burial cemetery. Assigned to the period of the high Middle Ages (5th to 11th centuries).
It is associated with a human settlement that in the medieval period was established on the old banks of Ribeira de Nisa.
