PAREDES DA VITÓRIA
Paredes beach has an extension of approximately 2500 meters, it is crossed by the Paredes stream, which, throughout the year, meanders along the beach, pushed by the wind, but always finding its way to the sea.
On the cliffs of the beach, traces of an old beach located 60 m above current sea level were detected.
POLVOEIRA
Polvoeira has an extensive beach in the shape of a bay. The most common access is from the forest road parallel to the coast.
The sea at Polvoeira stands out for the abundance of octopuses, in the area of rocky bottoms, at the northern end of the beach.
VALE FURADO
Vale Furado is a small and more sheltered beach than the neighboring beaches.
It has two accesses to the beach, the one on the left accompanied by a stream that ends in a small waterfall.
PEDRA DO OURO
Pedra do Ouro has extensive and golden sand.
During low tide, the beach connects with Praia da Polvoeira to the south and allows long walks by the sea.
ÁGUA DE MADEIROS
With an extensive beach surrounded by high cliffs, Praia de Água de Madeiros has a river where children love to play.
On the beach you can see the Lighthouse of São Pedro de Moel.
LÉGUA
Praia da Légua is inserted in a landscape where the golden dunes contrast with the green slopes, with reeds and sea thistles.
The sea, which sometimes has strong waves, is excellent for surfing.
FALCA
Falca is a beach of great natural beauty, with a small watercourse.
It is on the border between the municipalities of Alcobaça and Nazaré.
The best access is through Quinta da Falca, where there is a small parking lot and a path on the cliff to go down to the bathing area.
The Municipality has invested in the entire coastline (accessibility, surveillance, beach facilities) so that it can be enjoyed with quality by local vacationers, visitors and tourists.
