Route starting at the entrance to the Rio de Onor village, next to the Rural Camping Park of Rio de Onor.
It is recommended that you start the hike by following the tarmac road to the south. After about 900 meters, turn left along the road, following the highest section of the route, where you can appreciate a wide range of hills, reaching a single village: Rio de Onor. Gradually begins to descent towards the river and the place called Cimo do Couto de Baixo, to be surprised by the size of a centenary Black Oak, classified in 2012 as a Tree of Public Interest.
Return to the main path to take the path back to Rio de Onor, this time along a small trail, on the edge of the river Onor, next to a marsh. Shortly afterwards you reach an interesting Fraga and after a few meters you cross the river Onor, to go through some of the community land that precedes the village. As you walk through the streets of the village, take the opportunity to visit the Igreja Matriz de Rio de Onor, the bridge that crosses the river Onor (dating from the 19th century), the Forge and Community Oven or one of the mills installed on the riverbank.
The maximum altitude is 770 meters and the minimum is 686 meters. The type of route is circular, its degree of difficulty is medium and has an extension of 7000 meters.
