The newly built Parque Ribeirinho de Tarouca is the new and largest green space in the city and occupies an extensive area next to the river, promoting close contact with nature and the development of recreational and leisure activities.

In this space there are several different areas that serve the population in different ways: minigolf circuit, swimming pool, skate park, sports center, exercise area, picnic area and pedestrian paths. There are spaces that are still in the process of being completed, such as the children’s playground, beach volleyball court, camping area and riding arena.
