Wonderful World of the Figurado
A colorful and lively expression of the tradition and people of Barcelos.

The Wonderful World of the Figurado are 19 replicas of the most emblematic pieces produced by the figurative artisans of Barcelos.

The Wonderful World of the Figurado opens the door to popular art that identifies Barcelos. This is a world of creativity that challenges our imagination. They are replicas made by the sculptor Albino Miranda of some of the most emblematic pieces produced by the master craftsmen of our land that deserve to be appreciated in all their splendor in squares, avenues, roundabouts and other public spaces in the city. Devils and whistles, roosters and bigheads, worms, cuckoos and jellyfish. This is a rich cross between fantasy and reality in a colorful and lively expression of the tradition and people of Barcelos. This is our living museum. Let yourself be enchanted by the fantastic world of figurative art!
